Ahoy

If you like the asymmetrical, fun characters of Root but wished it was in the ocean and you could shoot cannonballs at your opponents, look no further than Ahoy! You have the choice to lead your crew, either the Mollusk Union or the Bluefin Squadron, or you could be a smuggler running your own small business of delivering goods to different islands. In Ahoy everyone just wants to be famous, the first person to have more than 30 points at the end of a round wins. Pirate crews earn fame by controlling tiles with different wealths, while smugglers earn fame by completing deliveries which will increase the tiles wealth.

Ahoy is for 2-4 players, taking around an hour to play.  Ahoy is played by playing exactly 2 actions plus any actions that don’t have any cost. Then it moves to the next player until everybody is out of action dice. The player boards are incredibly high quality and easy to understand. You have many actions with choices like sailing, battling, recruiting, repairing and some character specific actions. Overall Ahoy is a phenomenal game with unique strategy for each crew or individual being played.

Ahoy is available now from our webstore.
