Isle of Cats is a really cute aesthetic game that houses an interesting game of placement and resource management. This game is a great game for casual and more intense board-gamers alike! The rules for this game are rather intensive and a bit of a read, but they're fairly simple once you understand them.

It takes about 30 minutes to fully grasp the rules. The complexity of this game comes from placement and maximizing the most points at the end of the game. There isn't too much player interaction in this game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I would equate it to base Catan, where most player interaction comes from adapting to what resources other players take. The game is really fun and takes a little while to explain to others, but is simple enough once people start to get the hang of it.

If you're a fan of Catan, this game is right up your alley and honestly a really cute and solid buy!!
