Clank! Legacy Acquisitions Incorporated takes you on a grand adventure that is hilarious, charming, and extremely thematic. You push your luck as you race other players to explore a dungeon and hunt for treasure while avoiding dragon attacks. Then, over the course of several sessions, you fulfill common goals and make decisions that alter the story, game board, and cards available.

The rules are relatively easy to learn, and the strategy gets deeper with time. You move around and fight monsters by playing cards, so you plan the best cards to buy from the market to build your deck. You don’t want to get too greedy as you explore and plunder, or you risk upsetting a dragon that deals damage to anybody in the group. If you run out of health, you risk losing all the points you’ve gained.

As you get better at playing, you will see what works best in your deck, and there will be increased player interaction as you all start to play mind games with each other on how much treasure you can steal or how quick you’ll get back to safety.

Clank! Legacy is a real standout for fans of immersive, narrative-driven games. My group finds this to be one of the most fun games we have ever played. We all enjoy the whimsical story, mix of co-op and competitive strategy, and lighthearted mind games we play while pushing our luck. Our game sessions are also satisfying and last only about an hour and a half, leaving us feeling energized for the next. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or new to the world of Clank!, this game is a treasure trove of fun and excitement.
